Village Elementary will be joining in the "Doodle 4 Google" contest. The Doodle 4 Google competition is open to all students in U.S. schools from kindergarten to grade 12 (including homeschoolers). Only teachers can submit doodles on behalf of their students. What does my teacher need to submit? Village uses a software program to inspire independent reading, guided instruction, and help demonstrate accountability with a Lexile-based software program for Grades K–12. If you would like some info on what Lexile a book is you can go Click here. We are not quite running on a database for you to see if we have the book or not yet but we are working on it! It is recommended to have your child read 30 minutes a night to help them improve their reading skills at home and in school. |
