Principals in the classroom

The Victor Elementary School District is committed to principals being in the classrooms. As a function of this, school principals spend up to half their week in classrooms in order to help improve the teaching and learning that happens on a daily basis. Therefore, I may not always be able to speak with you when you drop in or telephone me. However, I really do value communicating with you.

Bell to Bell instructions

One of the most significant ways we can impact student learning is by consistently providing instruction from bell to bell. The first bell of the day is at 8:25 and this is when your child’s teacher begins instruction. If a student is not in their seat and ready to learn, they are missing out on critical instruction time. Likewise, if a child is removed from class before the final bell (2:40PM Monday – Thursday and 12:44 PM on minimum days) he or she is again missing out.

School Accountability Report Card
Current School Accountability Report Card (English)
Current School Accountability Report Card (Spanish)
The governing boards of California school districts must annually prepare and issue the School Accountability Report Card (SARC) for each elementary and secondary school under their jurisdiction. SARC reports are required by law to provide parents, the local business community, and interested parties with important information about a school's progress in 16 key areas. These Conditions cover such topics as progress toward meeting goals in reading, writing, and arithmetic progress toward reducing dropout rates and the amount of funds spent on salaries and other services. The School Accountability Report Card was established by Proposition 98, an initiative passed by California voters in November of 1988.
