Liberty, in our quest to have students with strong minds and bodies, has become a Mighty Milers team of the New York Road Runners Foundation. As our students and teachers run and walk laps around our playground and field during P.E. time, they will be earning their Marathon of Miles medals and helping their minds and bodies become stronger. With childhood obesity and juvenile diabetes on the rise and in the news of late, Liberty is actually getting our students and teachers "up and running!" Please support and encourage our students and teachers in this endeavor! |
